Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music and that of The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm in country music wrote her original songs to reflect the feeling of being alienated. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. It gave Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote the country genre in Nashville.
